Starting Fall 2026 Washington Youth Soccer will be switching from Birth Year (Jan-Dec) to an Academic Year (Aug-July) system to form age groups.    Please refer to the chart below to determine your child's age group for the upcoming Fall Soccer season.   

Note: Players with August birthdays will have the option during registration to choose either their designated age group or one age group older.  This adjustment is in alignment with the cut off date of Aug 31st for the youngest student in each grade at Washington schools.   

Washington Youth Soccer does not allow anyone to play down, even if it means the player is separated from their classmates.

SPRING SOCCER: Players  do not "age up" until after Spring Soccer.   Players are eligible to participate in the Spring 2027 season if they were born between  July 31, 2013 &  Aug 1, 2018 (U8-U14) and play with Lake Stevens Soccer Club during the Fall 2026 season.
